Whole body learning

Movement wakes up the brain. Physical activity brings heightened attention to the current moment and when you are more attentive “in the now” you are able to absorb more information. The brain becomes more focused when all the senses--seeing, hearing, smelling, touching, tasting--are activated. Even dancing your subject of study helps to remember it more effectively.

Movement also brings more oxygen to the brain which helps it to function at a higher capacity. Both the stimulation of the senses and the increased oxygenation of the brain are accomplished through moving while studying.
Now then: Get off your chair!
